Warren Blanchard
Warren is the managing partner and one of the founding members of PSC and PSP. He is a seasoned business operations, strategy, product management, and finance executive with over 25 years of experience building value for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to rejoining PSC, he was the Vice President of High Speed Data Strategy for Time Warner Cable, where he managed the company’s $6.5 billion residential high-speed data business, in addition to having managed business operations, strategic planning, and finance for the company’s online consumer portal. Prior to Time Warner Cable, Warren served in a number of operations, finance and engineering roles for major organizations like FINRA, Ernst & Young and Honda of America. Warren holds a B.S. in Industry Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Purdue’s Krannert Graduate School of Management. In 2015, Warren received the Purdue University Outstanding Industrial Engineering Alumni Award. Warren is also a graduate of two prominent executive leadership programs, The Corporate Athlete and NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP). He formerly served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for The Woods Academy, and was also an advisory board member of The Krannert Alumni Association, The Emerging Technology Consortium, and The YMCA of Silver Spring, Maryland. Warren is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast, and lives in Maryland with his wife and three sons.
Kirk Benson
Kirk is a partner and founding member of PSP. He has over 25 years of experience in both the private and public sector. The first part of his career was immersed in accounting, auditing and business solutions, having worked in the real estate group at Ernst & Young and in the internal audit divisions for several large multinational firms which took him from Europe to South America auditing the business operations of companies and their subsidiaries. After 20 years in the financial sector, he transitioned to acquisition and acquisition management. Starting his career with the Office of Contracting and Procurement for the District of Columbia government, where he was in the Information Technology group. From there he moved to the District Department of Transportation where he was responsible for various construction projects throughout the District and all the Information Technology contracts. While at DDOT he executed and managed hundreds of millions of dollars of contracts, including the city-wide alley restoration contract and the cities bikeshare program. Kirk also negotiated and executed the advertising contract on the bikeshare towers, one of only two revenue earning contracts in the city; the other being the TOPS permitting contract, which he managed. From there he moved to the federal space, at the Department of Transportation. While at Transportation, he managed a national contract, initiated a pilot program for hundreds of jurisdictions in the United States and won the Secretary’s award for outstanding achievement in acquisition for the second largest contract in the Federal Transit Administration (one of ten modes in Transportation). Kirk has a BS in Accounting from Purdue University and a Master’s in Government Contracts from George Washington University. In addition, he studied public private partnerships in the United Kingdom at both Regents and Cambridge Universities, with an emphasis on large infrastructure and transportation projects. He also has several federal and public purchasing certifications. Kirk lives in the Navy Yard neighborhood in Washington, DC.
Kodwo “Kojo” Mills
Kojo is a partner and founding member of PSP. He is also the founder and CEO of Invictus Africa Group, an investment company that partners financial and strategic investors seeking opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Kojo is the former acting CEO and a co-founder of Shanduka Group, a South African investment company that has a multi-industry portfolio of 30+ investments valued in excess of $1 billion. He was also previously the Managing Director of Shanduka’s R300 million private equity fund, Shanduka Value Partners Fund I. He joined the investment banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Inc. (“DLJ”, now Credit Suisse First Boston) and was seconded to African Merchant Bank Limited as DLJ’s representative. Kojo has been extensively involved in sourcing, structuring, implementing and monitoring various private equity investments in African markets and has over fifteen years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining DLJ he was employed as a financial analyst at Salomon Brothers Inc. He is currently a director of numerous companies including Invictus Africa Group and Stanbic Bank Ghana, the Ghanaian subsidiary of the Standard Bank Group of South Africa. Kojo has an economics degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Kojo is half Ghanaian and half American. He is married with two children.
Ram Nair
Ram Nair is a partner of PSP. He is a seasoned business executive and management consultant with extensive experience in the Technology-Media-Telecom sector and with Government agencies. He has over 25 years of experience in business strategy, operations, product management, technology development, and finance. Prior to joining PSC, he has held management positions with Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable, Sprint, and Nextel. As a management consultant, his client engagements have included Verizon, AT&T, Google, and General Motors. His government contracting engagements have included the Department of the Treasury, Department of the State, Federal Reserve Board, NASA, and FDA. Ram holds a B.S. in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Engineering from University of Miami, and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. He is professionally certified as New Product Development Professional (NPDP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He is also a recipient of the Outstanding Corporate Innovator award from Product Development and Management Association (PDMA). Ram is actively engaged with USATF Masters Track & Field. He lives in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife and daughter.
